About Mapleton Little League
A home-grown tradition of baseball excellence, powered by the Mapleton community.
Our Story
Baseball has been part of Mapleton’s summers for generations. Neighbors in their fifties still trade stories of late-inning heroics on the same fields where today’s athletes chase line drives. What began as a small neighborhood program has grown into a seven-team league welcoming boys and girls from Mapleton and surrounding towns each summer.
Who We Serve
- Age Groups – Ages 8 to 12.
- Skill Levels – From first-time sluggers to seasoned 12-year-olds.
How We Play
Although we’re not formally chartered with Little League International, we use the Little League rulebook as our baseline and add local tweaks that fit Mapleton’s program.
- Every player is guaranteed at least one defensive inning & one at-bat—most managers give more.
- Pitch limits and experienced umpires keep games competitive and safe.

Recent Highlights
- League Expansion – Added a seventh team in 2024 thanks to record sign-ups.
- Facility Upgrades – Refurbished neighboring Pony League field to accommodate the expanded schedule needed for seven teams!
- More Upgrades Coming! - Progress has been made in measuring, pricing and preparing a new scoreboard, dugouts, and infield material to further improve our facilities!
